I booked the trip of my lifetime to Italy this spring. My friends and I have been saving and looking forward to it for several years to celebrate milestone 60th birthdays. Now I am worried and I'm pissed that I'm worried. And I'm pissed that my family is worried about me going.
Edit to add: I understand people have plenty of other worse things going on. And that I'm lucky to be able to go. I am not whining. I'm just mad that so much stupidity has infiltrated every area of our lives.
You can’t let fear rule your life. I am going to Ireland, Scotland and England in June. I will wear my “Surrounded” necklace for protection, and place myself in the safety of my Savior, Jesus Christ.
Psalm 125:2 - Just as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people both now and forever.
Avoid the 3rd world inbred hoard
We went to Zimbabwe during the elections there in 08 when there was a travel advisory in effect for US citizens. Time of my life, don't worry, see the Coliseum for me. I still regret not going on my Latin class trip 30 years ago
Amen.
Take a boat.
And get one of the water activated EPIRB beacons.
I’m going to not be concerned until I noticeably see an increase in air disasters. Right now you do see stupid things that are happening due to lack of attention and accountability and whatever else like invisible doors flying off mid flight. Fortunately, those are still rare occurrences. Once we start seeing a news article like that once a week, I’ll be on the ground regardless of the reason to travel.
yes i am going to Japan in March....packin water wings
Are there still jab mandates in place?
