A 6 hour wait in the ER has always been the average, it will now be 12 hours. An emergency room is just that, for emergencies like car accidents, broken bones, strokes, heart attacks. But no, those getting free care use the ER as their doctor, coming in for a sniffle, sore throat, UTI, infected hang nail. If they were told on arrival, “We do not treat the following: colds, flu, UTI, infected pimples; you must go to your doctor, urgent care, or pay a $250.00 minimum up front” then the wait would be less.
i waited 9 hours last autumn in A&E with a suspected ruptured appendix lol socialised healthcare isnt all its cracked up to be here in UK either...
I left the UK nearly 15 years ago. Last week I broke a tooth so, rather than phone up, I drove to the dentist to make an appointment. He was sitting at his desk, chatting to his receptionist. "Come in! Sit in the chair. Let's take a look." His family is originally from Palestine but he speaks fluent Greek and English.
Ten minutes later, tooth filled, forty Euros poorer, I joined my wife in the nearby cafe for a coffee. Fook the UK.
where you based? (Greece I presume? Dont you have lots of immigrants over there too?)
12? Lol.
Canada is nearly at 24hrs and most of the doctors are inept lower IQ pajeets
The mass immigration of eastern peoples to Canada and the west coasts is a major issue. No more legal immigration as well.
Its horrible here. Pajeets shitting on beaches, slamming dump trucks into overpasses with fake drivers licences, pajeets sucking every last item from foodbanks and laughing about it.
The WhitePapers policy institute has a great podcast on this, we need massrepatration including 2nd gen migrants. they have to go back no more gibme dats
🎶Welcome to Brampton🎵
Move to a smaller town. I live in a relatively small County that is a major summer vacation spot due to the lakes. On a Friday evening in late July, when everything was pretty much at peak capacity, my dad broke a bone and the closest hospital was the County seat, a small city of a bit under 10k in size. They had him in an exam room with a doctor within 5 minutes of arriving. It's amazing what this Country still is when you get away from the places infested with ghetto goblins and illegals.
Now, the downside to that is I'm 200 miles from the nearest level 1 trauma center and 60 miles to a level 2 one.
But but They got BlowMamacare...
