Yupp. It's all programming. Life's all about associations and it guides how you think. If you associate critical thinkers to the "crazy" or low iq people, that'll be the connection and memory they'll draw from. Then you just constantly blast it so it becomes repition, which practice makes prefect, which builds habit. And now when you're trying to convince someone differently, they already have strongly held opinions on it without them knowing that their entire reasoning for thinking that way was crafted in a movie theater unbeknownst to them.

Same reason they always make the religious the hillbilly messed up in the head crazies in shows/ movies too.
