You are assuming that -
A) they won't just grant immunity to past presidents after this is over, which of course they will because this isn't about law
And B) Someone will bring charges against any of the aforementioned
I dont get how people cant see where this is headed. Its so freaking obvious.
What’s obvious to you? The only thing I see is that the court system is being elevated above the Presidency. Unelected people have more power than those we elect.
First off, the US is NOT a democracy, we are a Republic. Huge difference
Secondly, I'm glad SCOTUS isn't elected and I wish we could get the 17th Amendment repealed.
And finally, the people who get "voted" into office don't answer to We, The People. They answer to the party leadership and which ever lobbyist has the most $$$ on the table.
Really, where's it headed ?
EDIT: Downvoting is fun! Seriously though where's it headed
I'm just statng the obvious
It's evident they aren't going by the rule of law so how can we point to the law for precedent?
I'm not even saying it's not leading where everyone, including myself, wants. However, to assume so is catastrophic.
Where you make the mistake is you're assuming that every single thing that happens is the all encompassing "plan". Then you wait.
I keep open the possibility that it may not be and I should be ready for what actually does look obvious-they plan on fucking Trump over. Forget the legalities.
Which option do you think is better for preparedness?
They will. This is all a show.
You're assuming that "biden" is the legit president, too.
There's nothing legit about him.
Which proves my point. They aren't going by the rule of law, but we're using lawfare to say "Boomerang! We got them now!"
