They say a plastic baggie will last 450 years
I can’t even get one of those blue tarps the last two summers in Arizona 🤷♀️
Right?
Anything plastic dies here. Furniture, tarps, tires, etc., from the sun. And our soil eats concrete.
Yes, yes, yes!!!
A good undersink filter I have found is produced by Clearly Filtered. I once used their gravity fed filter with pitcher when I rented but have since installed the the 3 stage under sink filter in our home. They pride themselves on their removal of fluoride.
As a tip: I put the 3 stage filter in a bathroom instead of the kitchen as I didn't want to uselessly run water down the drain when doing dishes or cleaning up the sink. The bathroom has a deep sink with a gooseneck faucet and independent hot and cold levers.
Why couldn't you just install it where the cold water line starts in the house so it's filtered to every faucet in the house? Shower, kitchen sink, bath tub, bathroom sink, outside spigots, etc.
Ya that's big bucks.
I just do the undersink RO system and shower filters. Your drinking water is what really matters. I don't like ingesting fluoride. RO is only thing that removes it.
Filtering toilet water, clothes washer, etc is silly.
I thought RO was the only thing as well but clearly filtered does not use RO however a 3 stage filter process. So I don't have to add anything back to the water. Granted it says it removes 97.3% of the Flouride where I would assume RO would remove 100%.
How do you like yours and what is your process for adding minerals back?
You can really use any. RO membranes in combo with 3 filters get rid of everything. It does readd minerals back but removes all the crap out of tap water.
I have a artesian system from theperfectwater.com around 300 plus the permeable pump so closer to 400. Filter change every year to 2 years. RO membrane change every 5-7 years. A new 4 to 5 gallon tank every 8 years. I had same system for 15 years now.
As for shower filters anything not made in china. I swap out every 4 to 6 months.
You can buy these but as the person below said having a separate shower and drinking filter I find is more economical. And also for this design from clearly filtered, installing an under sink design inline with the waterline for the rest of the house would significantly decrease water pressure as it's a 1/4inch in and out on it.
Under sink 4 gallon is the max I could stuff under sink.
Is it an RO system?
Most filters CLAIM to remove fluoride, but rarely DO they...
The fluoride is smaller than a water molecule, bso RO would not work it llf it's pores were smaller than water.
Is it a carbon filter? How often do you change it?
Have you actually tested your water for fluoride specifically?
Because 99.99% chance you have nearly full fluoride content as the incoming water does. Beware

This is the system.
I have reached out to the company for a flouride test kit. I think it would be good marketing if they would be willing to send me a test kit to prove what their provided test results claim.
You can try, but Other poster says testers are $400. i really do not think that consumer grade R.O. systems are able to remove fluoride... Thde fluoride molecule is WAY smaller than the water molecule, and R.O. membrane holes HAVE to be large enough to let water through, so how are they able to stop F? Its like masks, if it lets much larger molecules through, theres no way kits stopping a tiny virus particle...
RO systems lie to get sales, simple as that...
This one isn't RO. Did you click the link?
Zero chance a simple 3 stage filter will do much. Won't do anything for fluoride.
3stage isnt even reverse osmosis. It's the worst type.
Independent lab results would prove otherwise. Removed 90.65% now, That's a bold claim over 0.
Protip: most of these claims are straight up lies. Unless you do your OWN testing, it's straight up bullshit what most of these small companies put out.
Especially the fringe companies, like Alex Jones type topics, they are so small they can lie with impunity.
So again, if RO cannot remove tiny fluoride, a crappy 3 stage filter won't be able to. And you're falling for bullshit.
No different than maskers claiming a mask can stop a virus but not stop much larger particles
Clearly filtered is one of the few cartridge filters that does filter fluoride.

Eh, not sure I'm going to believe a website's own claims. Not even R.O. can remove fluoride since tis smaller than water molecules. Have you verified YOURSELF with fluoride test kits that tis actually being removed? most of these woo-woo companies straight up lie since they know the consumers will never verify the huge claims
I have a Fluoride tester. Was like 400 bucks and you need to recalibrate everytime. RO is the only thing that's removed almost all fluoride to 0.3 ppm. My tap was 1.7ppm.
Filters get out ppm but still more fluoride then I'd want to injest. Which is .7 to 1.0ppm.

Who knows if your tester is that accurate, as I don't see how an RO system is able to get particles SMALLER than water, when it allows water through...
Man I love having fluoride free water. I know the white house and government use these systems.
What system... I have an RO system, but I doubt most of our consumers grade RO systems are able to remove fluoride....
