I served in the Army for 30 yrs. I can tell u without hesitation, this WILL be disastrous. Forget the most dangerous aspect: that NONE of them will have any real LOYALTY, ‘patriotism’, or desire to DEFEND the CONSTITUTION … 90% of them will be a fucking nightmare to manage. Military is military 24/7. If a soldier fucks up and gets arrested by civilian authorities, they don't contact their lawyer, they contact their military leadership. In civilian life, your boss will just fire you, or maybe nothing at all. In the military, everything is the militaries business. As a leader, that is a fucking nightmare. Especially if u have a bunch of fucktards. I personally have had to round up grown fucking men from jail, take them to see the “Army Doctor” before handing them over to military police. Oh, they still get charged by civilian cops, but also military. Yep, both. As the “leader”/supervisor, higher up commanders want you to keep tabs on all their court shit, rehab shit, counseling shit … you name it.
If they actually let border jumpers become part of “the formation” … the fucking insanity of making sure they act like soldiers/marines/sailors/airmen, on and off duty, will be like herding cats. Oh my God, I cant even imagine what an epic failure that will be.
Also, defectors/deserters … HOLY SHIT! If they decide they dont want to follow orders in a combat situation!!! They will just run back to fuckin Shitholistan. Who is gonna come after them? No one.
What is your take on foreigners in the past who have joined the US the military to become US citizens? In the past I took in some Marines from Camp LaJeune for Thanksgiving Day dinners for several years until the program ended. There were some who ate dinner in our home who had joined from other countries just to become American citizens. They seemed to be ok but I only saw and talked with them for a short time.
I think there’s a big difference between “foreigners in the past” and the current, illegal, invaders. The marines you’re referring to, although I may be wrong, came here “legally”, and that is a significant factor.
Better vetting process, intrinsic need of soldiers, and America was a country that both demanded and inspired loyalty -- we didn't have to worry about most people, because this was the land of opportunity, of plenty, of equality, of freedom to be who we are. Freedom to learn, freedom to improve, freedom to excel.
This isn't that country anymore. They know it, we know it, the people pushing for this know it.
Well I certainly don’t want these illegal aliens granted access to our military. I did not serve myself. But I don’t trust them if they already broke our laws to come here
Hard no.

But we can be again.
