Eggs are back up from $1.50/dozen to over $5 I tried to buy my kids a bag of grapes (from Mexico ironically) and told the cashier to put them back when they rang up over $9. If there is anything that will crush a normie, it is when they themselves start feeling the pain of not being able to feed themselves. This trend has been exploding in just the past couple weeks and I am afraid it will only get worse the closer we get to election time. WH in control? Make sure voters feel the pain that this current administration has brought upon us and they will be begging for change. Rudy won a landslide in NY. Reagan won a landslide. All because it finally got bad enough. Be strong friends and remember it’s always darkest just before the storm!

Beer is going up fast here in AZ. Oh, the humanity!! Along with big time product shrinkage, gasoline up, diesel and propane up, too.
Cant forget about that shrinkflation that papa Joe informed us about!! The border is gaping harder than kamala and he's telling us to worry about how many chips come in a bag.. stay away from products in boxes and bags and you won't have that issue.
Kraft Dinner, Canada's most important staple food, just shrunk from 225 to 200 grams. Years ago, you could feed 4 kids with 1 box.
Kraft macaroni and cheese is Canada's most important staple food? crazy. I remember the days tho, 2 boxes fed our family of 6, gotta have the weeners too!
It WAS Canada's most important staple food. Then ramen noodles came along. My Niece used to occasionally entertain her friends after school. She would always cook up a big batch of KD. I think to this day that is the only thing she can cook. Her Mother was visiting her recently, now that she is working and living on her own, and just about had a heart attack when she caught sight of her credit card purchases. Uber Eats 7 days a week.
Oh my!! The delivery industry being as popular as it is, blows my mind. I have a friend who does door dash for extra money. He regularly makes 7-11 style runs for people, for something as small as a big gulp!! So fat and retarded.
Who would make another human being fetch them a big gulp? The douche bagery of modern day consumers. It's another sign that we are no longer a Great Western Civilization. Both my Step Brothers who grew up playing computer games 24/7 order food almost daily. My phone has ZEro apps. My older Step brother is so obese now, I'm sure he will drop dead before he hits 50.
man sorry to hear that, family struggles are no fun.
Beenie weenies what I grew up on. When we had Mac n cheese with it, it was like Christmas!
But the beer!!
Bull! Products that come from the ground and from natural reproduction (sustainability) are the ones the highest in cost. Ie eggs, meat, and bread.
Yes, but you can actually see what you are paying for. They dont hide it behind a shiny colorful box or rapper and reduce the weight without telling you.
Its time to organize home-made beer gatherings.
I live east of Jackson about 50 miles and my grocery bill is double what it was a year ago. Electric bill has doubled in the last 2 years. I sure am glad inflation is only 5%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Food and energy costs aren't even factored into the inflation calculations!
Consumer Price Index is where they hide the truth (even though they fudge those numbers a bit, too).
Hey pine belt fren!
Hey there ltl Buddy. Been a little chilly down here lately. Looking forward to mid-70s again!
Mid 70’s today. But we always have mild winters. Looks like spring is here. Got some tomatoes planted and getting ready to build some more planters. Jones county here. You?
Scott county. 72 and hoping for spring. I have 4 - 4x8 planters I made last year and I think I’ll build 4 more this year. We have a small green and are putting seed in the pots this afternoon right after we play 18 holes. 😄
yep, two days ago i got groceries. what use to cost me around $200 to $225 was almost $350.
If the regime is focused on supporting Ukraine Nazis and other personal enrichment,
The people will suffer
I regularly skip over things now and try to shop sales and staple goods, but the prices are still stupidly high for what you get.
And yet, Pravda will parrot the DNC talking point that inflation has actually come down to below 2020 levels.
Here in PA, grocery prices haven't stopped skyrocketing since the bidet regime took power.
$5 for 1 1/12 dozen eggs. Shook my head when I saw an old picture of some prime cut ribeyes I’d cooked a few years ago — $8.99/lb on the sticker. You can’t touch it for less than $20/lb now.
Gas is going back up. It was in the $2.40ish range for several months and now it's back up to $2.79. And yeah, groceries are insane. Things I paid a dollar for back at the end of 2020 are now over double the cost (store brand graham crackers especially come to mind since I have two little people at home).
Me too! I got 2 eaters! And they eat!
