They should move their factory to some place that can make a decent firearm too. Their products have gone straight to shit in the last twenty years or so.
I bought a .223 bolt action that the rear sight dovetail was not level with the barrel. A 1187 12 gauge semi-auto that kicks out the bolt release knob if you fire three shots in a row, and a damned 870 12 gauge pump that jambs like a bitch if you fire two or three fast shots. The later takes all the strength you can muster just to get the slide down to eject the shell.
Needlest to say I no longer buy Remington's shit, and I was a huge fan.
What is your Fav US gun maker these days?
Daniel Defense
Never heard of them until today. Just looked them up. They have an impressive selection. Thanks for the education.
Uvalde mass shooter had one....an 18 yo w part time burger king job had a Daniel Defense AR
In my top 3!
I like old style built guns with wood and blue steel.
I love the CZ stuff but most of it is to expensive. I would like one of their 22 rifles, and 9mm in the model 75 series.
I like the single shot break barrel shotguns and rifles made by Henry. Those are quality guns.
You have good tastes in guns. I watch a Doc the other day on rifle making. The blue steel look is done by acid dipping for a short period. I wish I remembered the name of the company. It looked like they were dedicated to precision.

The Honey badger is as good as it gets (5.56 Nato)....
$250 gun mat, get outta here
Although now I do want it...
Canik lol
Turkish gun company that makes high quality pistols for a fraction of the price. They opened a factory in Florida.
If you want true US then I'd say Staccato or Smith and Wesson, depending on your budget.
Probably Glock lol
Nope. Don't care for plastic guns.
I have a Browning Hi-Power made in Belguim, and a Kimber 1911 45. The Kimber is a POS that is not accurate. I was an expert shot with a worn out Colt 1911 45 in the military so the problem isn't the nut behind the trigger.
The only concession to plastic shit is a cheap Taurus 40 S&W P24/7. It's not a bad gun.
I also like the Beretta pistols. I have one in 380a auto.
I'm a gun nut by some people's standards, but I have a lot of friends just like me. We'll be ready when the time comes. kek
Used to drive by kimber factory every day… this is not the first time I hear about their quality issues, so sad they can’t keep up with other 1911 makers.. but those pieces do look nice !!
Edit, they moved to AL, so hopefully they doing better than in NY
Products are only as good as those you hire. Maybe they are using illegals and illiterates for cheap labor.
