Capital One is folding. So this lady is worried that it reduces the competitiveness of the credit industry and you wont be able to get credit cards with low APR etc.

In an unrelated news, the slave masters have announced that one of the top four chains preferred by the slaves are no longer going to be available. Slaves are sad that their choices are getting limited.

Discover has always been one of the worst credit cards anyway. Terrible rates for buisness acceptors and worse rates for the card holders. Not much change in the wind direction with this single acquisition/merger.

I say fine. Makes the litigation and paperwork easier in the future when these monolithic exsanguinators of public trust are abolished, reformed, or replaced.
