Banks buying up, changing rules.
I mean that is one way to look at it, another way the the biblical evil of usury.
Source Exodus 22:25, Ezekiel 18:13, Duteronomy 23:19 (there are others)
Any interest base system is flat out evil. I am hopeful another round of Trump will have a Jubilee. I hope we are that far along in the Timeline, though we might still be going into a few years of destruction. I am hoping that these past years of deep state/secret combination administration is the time of troubles.
Agreed. They used usury to control individuals and convert them into slaves and steal all their wealth. Now they are using the exact same tactic, but at country level, using central banking.
While I agree that all interest based system is evil, my simple mind cannot wrap around a world where people have no way of borrowing money. What if you fall on hard times? What if you want to start a venture?
The way the Banksters took control of the Christiandom was by filling in the void that was left since Christians were not allowed to charge interest and so many of the monarchs had no other option but to borrow money from the Banksters.
Do we want this huge gaping loophole?
What if there is a low interest based loan system, but backed by resource backed economy and without fiat fraud?
Honestly, I cant even begin to grasp the answer, and if you know me, you realise that this is very unsual.
Usury = a pound of flesh. A claim of ownership over a person. Without interest, you would have a loan fee (one time) or even none. Loans woud have to be collateralized such as house or car loans, If the loan can't be claim the collateral.
Interestingly with sound money you have Deflation instead of inflation, so receiving the same nominal amount would be a real gain. So, investing in community via savings = a real return. A virtuous system.
This is very good point. I do believe ultimately everything will be at local level - governance, banking, charity, etc.
Hmmm, very interesting. You can extend this a bit further and say loans should only be taken to purchase assets. The asset you purchase is going to be the collateral. You want to live luxuriously? Get a loan, purchase an asset and use that asset to start a business. I like this idea.
