People without service would be unable to vote in the poll so the results can't be accurate.
I think people just lost phone service, internet connection was still wotking.
Most blue collar people like me dont have internet while working though. Our phone is usually what keeps us connected. Mine was down until from 340am to 11am
A lot of people only browse from their phones and wouldn't go to a computer to get online if their mobile connection was lost.

They were able to separate telecommunications from the internet and shut it down. Successful test.
The significance is in how many high profile accounts are making it a point to talk about this.
We can hinder the enemy when we call out their shit as or before its happening.
