Here is an older study (N=29 682) that claimed to have found correlation between redmeat and heart diseases.
as a matter of fact, cholesterol makes up a lot of your body. and I have even seen studies showing higher cholesterol has an inverse correlation with heart disease (high cholest = less cardiac events)
