I have smoked weed for over fifty years. Never had a stroke or heart problem. I don't trust this 'flower' that is sold in shops. Heck, I don't trust anything the government has it's hands on. I don't buy the store bought because it makes me cough to the point of vomiting. Over the years I have read studies saying that marijuana was actually good for you. Now they say it's not.

Sounds like marijuana is gonna get the cigarette treatment, legalize it to tax it to hell and back, and poison it to kill and maim the users for more healthcare and Master Settlement moolah.
Yeah, I was already thinking this, too. I smoke ciggs but grow my own tobacco. Never understood why they added all the chemicals. I do now. Anyways, I'll be 66 this coming July and smoked pot over fifty years. I'm just waiting on NC to legalize so I can grow my own. The store bought weed is awful. I have allergies and asthma and really react to the legalized crap they sell. I never have had a problem with home grown, though.
There used to be a fine roll your own shop here. 20 bucks a carton. Buy the tobacco no additives buy your tubes fill the hopper put the opened carton in the insert and it would process them. Great smokes slow burning. They shut them down on some didnt psy a tax bullshit. God I miss those. Especially since finding a job has been sloooooow. My non smoking son bitches about paying for my cigarettes. Same kid I kept in video games and would call me when I was making diddly wanting wings fries and mozzarella sticks. If he only realized how much I did without to give him what he desired. I mean I get it. They're not good for me they're obscenely expensive. I cant wait to find a job do my piss test and buy a big bag of weed and get to sleep again.
I'm thoroughly convinced it has medicinal value and thats why they outlawed it for so long. True story: I had some nasty chest congestion about 2yrs ago (maybe "covid") and whatever it was I couldn't kick for anything. Most bugs I get are typically 24 hours and I can kick it. This thing I couldn't for damn near a month. Then I took about 3 drags one night and POOF!! Next day, congestion was gone.
THC has already be proven to stop covid-19 cell replication in lungs.
I've unfortunately discovered that I am quite allergic to it.
