I'll tell you how 'stupid' I've been lately. The DMV usually sends out a RENEWAL for your Driver's License every 4 years. Well my husband and I was talking and he said he had to get his license renewed next month. I asked him if he got his renewal notice and he said no. Then I thought, 'I got mine the year before he renewed his the last time." Sure enough, I looked and I have been driving on an expired drivers license that ran out in April of 2023. So now I will have to go and 'most likely' have to take the written test again, or if I'm lucky just have to pay a very late fee for something the DMV used to send us reminders for. In a way, that makes me feel stupid, but hey, my Doctors office has taken it, the blood work center has taken it and so have several other places since then and no one noticed they were expired.
The Constitution states clearly that you must be a US citizen to vote!
