So this is odd. Supposedly if Prince William is unable to serve for whatever reason, next is line is his son Prince George, who's nine years old.

Apparently, if the next in line is a minor, a regent could be assigned until the child turns 18. Not sure who that would be.

There was an article this peek saying that Princess Anne would be the Queen Regent until George is old enough. And the horses weirdly seen last weekend are under her charge…

If a regent is needed for Prince George, it would most likely be his mother, Catherine, The Princess of Wales.
