She can do more immediate good as governor or senator. My hope is she gets to the governor's mansion eventually. A governor with balls can stop the feds insanity in their state.

Perhaps. But Trump needs warriors in Congress, governors Mansions, and leadership positions in the state legislatures. Not as VP meeting foreign dignitaries at the airport.
I don't think his VP would have the inside track to replace him. VP are followers, not leaders. That is why the old system of the Cabal actually running the show, all candidates were followers of the Cabal.
In a Trump world we need leaders, and VP is a wasted place for real leaders.
