Given what he went through to achieve his former position within the DOJ, this is no small sacrifice. What he has must be of some great importance to him as a patriot. God Speed, Sir.

After opening stmts by Chair, Jim Jordan, Ranking Minority leader, Jerry Nadler, Oversight Chair, Jamie Comer, and ranking minority leader,Jamie Raskin, Hur said his intent was fairness and facts, and to show his work. He stated his intent to limit his testimony in this hearing to the report, not to speculate.

Topics of questions by House members:

1. Ghost writer no security level authorization. "Slid" audio evidence to his recycle folder.
2. Depts probabiity of conviction. Proof, jury reaction, judgement of the prosecutor.
3. Responsed only to questions about Trump mentioned in his rpt. Only those related to Hur's report. Only D House members talked about Trump allegations. They frequently asked Hur to speculate.
4. Is it OK to take classified information home as it appears to be OK in the report? "No evidence beyond reasonable doubt" covered in chapters 11-12 of rpt. Hur weighted his assessment of what a jury would do, it seems.
5. The classified info was separate from his personal diary personal property. Both were examined?
6. Why did Joe Biden do it? P226 shows he knew the rules. Why did he break them? p236 show strong motivation. Hur responded he did not examine that. Was it $8M book plus improving his image. "Presidential timber." Have
7. Raskin focused on Trump's cases rather than the bottom assessment of Hur's rpt that Biden could not survive prosecution, therefore not
8. How many Whitehouse employees interviewed? Don't know. why Dana Remus retrieve documents? Appendix A. Oversight intends to interview Remus with assistance of recordings, if provided. Kathy Chung? Hur testified that names were not in rpt but stated that recordings were done of all interviews.
9. Assertions about two-tiered justice system and rigor and fairness of the Hur investigation and report.
10. Hur evaded questions about Foreign fundimg of places where Biden's classified documents were found.
11. Hur did not reach the conclusion that Biden was innocent.
12. Hur has much government experience, but he was not authorized by A.G. Garland to assess Biden's mental ability to serve.

Why did Hur come to his judgment about Biden that is in his report?
