She didnt eat or drink all day. Slept all day. I got home from work and she got up to come see me. My wife ordered pizza for the kids,she was at the door waiting for the pizza man.
I wrapped an anti biotic in a piece of cheese.she ate it
My wife made grilled cheese with bacon. I took the bacon grease and put it in her food with a piece of bacon. She ate all but the carrots she usually likes.she drank some water.
She hasnt had any fenben and vitamins in 3 days cuz she wouldnt eat and i figure id just let her eat if she was gonna eat.
This morning shes having scrambled eggs with bacon and bacon grease with the fenben and vitamins but shes not eating it yet.
Lots of frens praying for you and your pup. You're doing all you can and at the very least it doesn't sound like doggo is suffering.
Not judging by no means, but have you tried to change diet. Maybe go raw or something like that with the fenben treatment?
She wont eat raw meats. I tried it. Ive already changed her diet from dog food to cooked human foods. Honestly,i think its got to do with not giving her whatever we eat or snack on all day is mostly why shes not eating. If i put some of what she shouldnt be eating in the bowl,she will eat the whole bowl. Surpring me that she wont eat the eggs and bacon this morning.
Gotcha, yeah at this point probably best just to get anything you can in her. I will pray for the best.
Lightly fried chicken livers seem to help my dog eat when he's lost his appetite. Just enough to stimulate interest - don't give him half the carton - too rich for my guy, anyway.
Keep the faith fren. We give our dog a mix of dry and wet food for dinner and breakfast. If we have to give him any powder it goes in with the wetfood. We use the same trick as you for the tablets, cheese for the win. :)
Cheese for the win is right! An elderly man told us to use cheese when we were buying the pill pockets. Pill pockets do not work.

I've heard this too. I've also heard their body can't handle the grease well either.
I wouldn't doubt the nitrates cause issues with cancer.
Stay brave….people food does spoil them but when you’re at this stage, so what ? It’s important she eats and if it’s people food….so be it…. I would back off on the greasy stuff, hard to digest on a not feeling good gut. That bacon grease is tempting but I wouldn’t make a habit of it. Chicken, scrambled eggs, sweet potato, brown rice…veggies well cooked. Boil everything. If she’s insistent on bacon, cook it well and crumble it up.

Can you liquefy her medicines and inject them down her throat? I don’t know what form of fenbendazole she is taking but I’d try it along with the ivermectin. If the ivermectin is a paste or gel, I’d put it in the side of the mouth the tumor is on. I don’t know. Just throwing stuff out there. I’m concerned that any progress made may be lost if you backslide on the dosing.
