Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evoloving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
So I'd read that former WWE wrestler Maryse Ouellet, wife of Mike "The Miz" Mizanin, has had basically her entire reproductive system removed, just to stop some tumors.
I quickly thought of you guys, and how the cure for cancer is apparently being suppressed. Also why I'm keeping up with that one guy's track of his dog's fenben treatment.
God, I hope this ends sooner rather than January.
Maryse? Wow, that is so sad. I had a huge crush on her when I was a lonely frog
Even the rich are subject to big pharma's evil
I can tell i'm getting old when i hear "former" wrestler and it's still someone with a name I dont recognize meaning they must have came around after I grew out of wwf wcw etc lol
But, jokes aside - yeah. It isn't even about being smug or feeling right or whatever else like - we see these people with that poison in their body and we just gotta be thankful we were the ones who managed to avoid that attack on the people. Sure, the people who were loud about "IF YOU DONT VAX YOURE A POS" theres a bit of poetic justice there - but overall, we didn't wish harm on them like they did on us. We just wished people didnt take that crap into their body. The average walmart grocery cart is already trying to kill us, we didn't need a death jab on top of that.
She was big 2005-2012. And back then women's wrestling was an afterthought so I do not blame you. She had amazing stage presence and a fantastic hair flip.
Some of us frogs never outgrew it, hell I got my wife into it. Would not suggest jumping in until after Mania this year and hopefully the title scene is sorted out because it is pretty awful right now
ok yeah 2005 was when i turned 16
wrestling for me was.... when i was a kid at my grandmas while she made spaghetti then we watched wcw. she liked that one more. but, i loved wwf too. wwf no mercy for nintendo 64 is still my favorite wrestling game. But, the fact i call it wwf says she was before my time lol
Btw, incase you wanna check out a neat song (its nsfw depending on the audience. nothing crazy, but a guy named "rugged man" isnt exactly something to play around kids LOL)
. Like, I'm not a big fan of boxing - but, i think this is "neat" because you can clearly tell Rugged Man embraces it and you could call this song a crash course history lesson. I didn't even know who alot of these boxers were when i first heard this like 15-17? years ago. (edit: it was uploaded 14 years ago lol)

edit 2: (for context: she died of cancer in 2003. so, for several years anything that reminded me of her kinda hurt)
