My wife will vote for Trump, but she doesn't want to know about whats going on and hates it when I talk about it. She is a Filipina and has mostly traditional values, but she also has an average Filipino IQ, Lower IQ folks tend only care about their immediate circle of family and friends, but that's ok Ang mahitabo mahitabo (What Happens Happens) is quite common among many people in the Philippines... Reactive, rather than proactive is par for the course.

I'm long since given up on my adult family members, not that there are many. I only feel sorry for their children, and hope they aren't going to try and transition any of them. Several are quite intelligent, but have been programmed to lack moral fiber. Maybe they don't have that inner voice... 4-5 years ago I was trying to wake up one family member by telling them to try and also see the opposite side of any issue by listening to that point of view. She then asked me if I listened to NPR, as if that was in opposition to MSM.
I was so shocked that anyone who is Anti-abortion, but still voting for it. I was so shocked that after showing them JFK's speech to the Press Corps, they still voted left. I was so shocked when I read their comments re: Obamas book and that they emphasized with all he went through.
