I think we may already be some way down that path, or the least very close. I'm hoping we exchange the Federal Reserve note one for one with a new gold backed US dollar.
If you don't have a reliable ledger that can 100% accurately track where the physical gold is, then the gold standard is going to fail very much like the first time.
I think this will be the last thing that happens- Biden will have no desire to end the Fed. His job is to end the economy and usher in CBDC, which will have to fail also. There are no provisions in our current laws to allow the gold standard to replace the petrodollar provided by the Fed.
We have to get much worse (as in politicians angry that their lucre is worthless, bribes won't work anymore) before any bills are introduced to do it, let alone a Biden administration to approve of anything that would be good for us.
No, I'm sorry, we have a bit to go through yet before this happens. Not that I like it, but that's what I see out of the drops- it has to be legal, no laws appear out of thin air, and EVERYBODY has to go though the wringer until we're on the same page.
It sucks because I was ready for a currency change since 2008; it was never fixed. And before that, we were on a slow burn with our money/wages/value/worth for the whole time before that during the baby Bush years.
Bring it Q.
We are as ready as we will be....

I'm still wondering if gasoline will be over $3/gal. Or will we keep paying confiscatory prices?
Iβm paying $4.29 (and sick of it)
I'm paying nearly $6 and sick of it
