Governor Nuisance will eliminate all fast food in the state. Was this economic policy or health policy?
What is bullshit is government setting wages selectively. While I believe wages should keep up with inflation, I believe the free market shoud set wages, not some fucking hair-gelled fuckstick.
I believe that there should be no government set minimum wage. Pay should be negotiated between the business and the workers. If a business pays too low, don’t take a job with them.
Minimum wage as a concept is something that sounds good, but also ends up wildly abused.
Wages keeping up with inflation is important though, and a lot of people end up finding themselves with little to no raise to compensate unless they argue for their position or seek employment elsewhere, which a lot of people feel they can't afford to risk due to all of the rising costs of living.
I always liked to point out that all minwage proponents had to do was tip a lot more, and at fast food cashiers.
It’s also fun to point out that they already had the minimum wage at $25 back in 1965, and knowingly lowered it through inflation while stealing from everyone else. How much power should we give proven thieves and fraud artists?
Never worked, though. Dunno why. Maybe they had some incentive somewhere I didn’t know about, or maybe the brainwashing has some sort of concept overloaded in their minds.
It’s extremely weird how they can’t think anything but what the TV tells them.
I was also thinking this will lead to less fast food being consumed and an unintended health benefit for CA.
