They are playing to energize their base who believe that the Supreme Court is stopping their onslaught against the Constitution and our Rights enshrined in it.
They will stop at NOTHING! No law will deter them, not the Constitution itself, which even contains a way to amend it. They will just run rough-shod OVER law and Constitution, Truth, and Human Decency.

Having just a few more justices makes each individual one a little less powerful. Is this a bad thing?
As long as Trump gets to be the one to choose the extra four, and as long as the Senate will approve his picks, I'd be cool with a 9-4 conservative split. :p
