Sorry to post here but this is where I experience troubles with my browser(Brave). For quite long time when I select a link, read it, and return, I am returned nowhere near the link I just used. I have become increasingly frustrated having to scroll up & down looking for where I left off. This doesn't happen on patriots.win which is assume is a similar system.
Anyone else had this issue and fixed it? Ideas welcome.
You could always open the link in a new tab, switch and read the article, then close the tab.
You will be exactly at the place you left off.
This is precisely what I do.
Thanks I have resorted to this but then its a trade off between frustrating & inconvenient.
Exactly what I do.
It is related to the way the site functions. When you scroll down, the URL changes based on page position. So scrolling way down would make the URL:
https://greatawakening.win/new?from=17t1HyI4Q4
notice the "?from=" part. The glitch is occuring with this feature. And yes it is irritating as hell lol
Sometimes it skips position, sometimes it causes posts to appear multiple times, other times some posts seem to disappear entirely.
Thanks for the explanation. I guess misery loves company. Not really.
Happens to me on ios all the time. Frustrating.
Try using: open in a new tab. A bit of a work around, but solves your issue much faster than trying to find the error in the code that drives you nuts.
Yeah have tried that but it's fatiguing.
Try updating your browser, or, if you have the latest update, try removing the entire app and then reloading it. Sometimes a bug causes issues.
Browser up to date, but i don't understand your reference to app? I strictly use the browser.
If you have iPhone, you can download brave as an app. I think you can also search for brave and download it without getting the app.
Got it. Thanks. All of my issues have been using PC based Browser.
Brave has issues. I can't import my bookmarks. But I use it because it blocks popups better than chrome.
Brave doesn't have issues with Patriots.win. Same thing happens with firefox.
