Sure a buck isn't shit to Soros types...... BUT if X can flag and block accounts linked to the same bank account then that becomes a HUGE roadblock to creating bot accounts. It's a lot more work to create a bank account or attach a different card to each new fake account.

So, why are we being so opposed to pitching in a little to shore up his bottom line?
And, if it culls out some of the bots, I am in favor. Have you seen the overseas operations where the entire room is full of working cellphones that are mounted to rows and rows of vertical panels that are sending and posting automated comments and propaganda 24/7? Thousands of them all at the same time. It is a major operation. These need to be stopped.

He's running Tesla, SpaceX, Twitter/X, has 10 children and 3 ex-wives, and unless he's cloned himself, I'm surprised he gets accomplished all the things he does.
What a load of crap. If he claimed to be a "free speech" advocate, it would be his top priority to unsuspend not just the big-named conservatives, but everyone who was wrongfully suspended. He hand picked and chose who to unban. How is it a free market of ideas when "free speech" is curated by selective privilege?
If Elon is able to buy Twitter, he's able to allocate the manpower to prioritize free speech, and it goes to show that isn't the case. His system is ran by bots and there's no manual oversight.

If Elon actually followed through with his promise to unban those who were wrongfully banned I'd agree with you. But he's a lying hypocrite.
