I like the info Dr. Makis shares...D levels need to be at about 70 ng/mL...you get tested when you get bloodwork...but you often have to ask. My family takes 10,000 IUs daily with a Super K from Life Extension...and we started in the mid 20's and are now around 70 ng/mL...I cannot begin to tell you how this has improved our lives...Vitamin D or Hormone D deficiency is one of the biggest problems in Healthcare today...and even sadder is that it is SO easy to correct. You need to know many people do not absorb adequate D from the sun...testing is the only way to know...
Now I understand why Dr Fauci is the first doctor I’ve known to say stay inside when you’re sick. Most Docs at least tell you to try and get some fresh air. Not Fauci.
Ancient western and eastern cultures associated sunlight with healing energy.
We can feel more energetic and less depressed in the presence of sunlight.
Your eyes feel better in the presence of sunlight or even infra red radiation of a fire after you have been exposed to excessive blue light or darkness.
I drink 3-4 gallons of whole milk a week and I'm always outside doing something... probably 10-20 hours of direct sun exposure per week (used to be more but I took a maintenance position in a factory), I wonder what my levels are.
The only way is to test...
