Based on union rules, they texted the Fire Department which arrived shortly an hour later. One uniformed responder was heard to say "At least he was able to stop smoking."
Question? Are you willing to burn for a man who set himself on fire? If a child was in a burning building they would run in. This guy did it to make a statement and intended to die. Smoke inhalation alone will kill you but burning your skin hair and nails? Devastatingly deadly. Secondly what did the cops have readily available to put him out? Do they carry fire blankets? Buckets of water? What exactly would have them do? Feel free to share your thoughts. Did they have so much as a jacket? How long does it take just to take your jacket off? I’m tired of people demanding police do the impossible and risk life and limb for someone who intended to go out in a blaze of gorey, not glory but as nasty and as sickening a method as he could. Lunacy at its finest.
So this is horrible, I dont care who you are or what you stand for this is a terribly horrid thing to happen. Even tho in the beginning he may have been “suicidal Im quite sure he was regretting this as he was burning. We should always try to help our fellow man no matter the circumstances. I feel like instead of springing into action people just videoed it. It is so disheartening to see where society is at right now.
The amount of fire around him assumes he had used a chemical agent to speed along the incipient and growth stage of the fire. To reach fully involved at fastest speed. The human body can survive quite a bit, so I’m sure he was in pain longer than he thought, sad really. Suicide never achieves the ends the suicidal person desires and only hurts those around them, which is generally not the idea. The statement gets lost in grief from those who care, and by massive information fed by news corporations, most people will forget the why.
“Horrified witnesses desperately called for help”, if he was so desperate then why didn’t he step in to help? People would rather stand by and take video than do something.
Disclaimer: ( He wanted to kill himself in as shocking a way as possible. It’s totally on him, not anyone else)
I’d be willing to bet that was a can of Nitromethane .. talk about an accelerant! Those flames were pretty intense, it appeared much more volatile than gasoline which was my first assumption when I had heard about this
There was too much accelerant to do anything early on, and it would be too cruel to help him live after the initial fire. The most merciful thing to do would have been to put a bullet in his head instead of extinguishing the flames.
It's amazing how so much information about this guy is known within hours.....yet we are still waiting for more details on the Las Vegas shooting.
Lift lid slightly: BUMPSTOCK CRAZY PERSON ACTED ALONE.
Shut lid. Call it done. Become Governor.

That is hilarious!!!
Dark humor is understandable in a situation like this because such an action is inexcusable to the save mind.
Well said.

"Bro’s over there burning while they’re tending to the bushes. Even he was cursing DEI at that point." Wins the day!
