That isn’t “forced”. It’s just not the proper word. “Forced” is “coerced with threat of extreme, fatal, or irresistible violence”.
These cases are “coerced” or “leveraged” or “threatened”, “compelled”, “bullied” “pressured”, etc.
It’s necessary to be specific on this because the use of violence or physical pressure to administer it is a very clear escalation that must be treated differently.
As much as I hate this, it's true. If enough people (especially employees) who felt "forced" would have refused, the employers would have had to re-think their decisions. Look back on times where Christians were killed for their beliefs. They could have easily played along to save themselves. But they didn't. So don't talk about "forced".
Too many people just didn't want to rock the boat or be called conspiracy theorists. The biggest problem in this country is people from the bottom to the top trusting the wrong sources/people without question. And look where it got them on this one.
Our society is being designed this way for the purposes of manipulation & control. The motivation is either simple greed, obsession with power and status. And all of these are associated with evil. Even if the person doesn't believe they are acting in evil.
There is a choice in a lot of these cases. The fact that the person doesn’t feel like it doesn’t mean they don’t have it.
If the jab wasn’t the mark of the beast, but a precursor, and the mark is yet to come, you’ll be glad that someone tried to remind you to stay strong in your faith in the face of evil, when the asking price to keep your soul is just your job.
If you check my post history, I’m quite in favor of calling out evil and taking action against it, and I’ve also spoken quite a bit about it needing to be measured appropriately, not taken rashly, and being lawful.
I [deleted, because it was excessive, but still have the text] a fairly passionate post toward what sounded like someone advocating inaction a few days ago.
The use of the word “forced” here is still inaccurate, and I’m not pointing it out to “run cover” or “call for inaction” or stupid nonsense like that, I’m pointing it out 1. so that reactions can be appropriately measured when the time comes 2. If worse comes before judgment is rendered, you have it in your mind to stand fast rather than kneeling.
As Owen Benjamin likes to say, “I may be wrong, but I’m not lying”, and in this case I’m not wrong, either.
Let’s do be clear on this.

Lets just call it assault with a deadly weapon. Seems to fit.
I see it as torture or terrorism.

Exactly this.
I knew what I said would get a lot of downvotes, but it’s still true.

It was only partly rape
Don’t be the language police….there are more meanings to “force” than the one you are seeing….look it up !
Many many people were FORCED and that seems clear to me.
I’m not trying to be the language police.
I’m trying to remind people of their sovereignty.

"I'm not forcing you; I'm just going to methodically destroy every facet of your life until you comply."
Sure thing, shill. 🙄
If your boss told you to commit a crime or you'd be fired...what would you do?
It really depends. So many things that should NOT be illegal, are; and so many things that SHOULD be illegal, are not.

Yeah I do see your perspective, actually. I apologize for calling you a shill; I shouldn't have done that. I try to be better than that.
I do see your perspective, just disagree - to some extent....
Sounds like we agree more than not.
Take care, Fren. :-)
No worries!
