To be successful, insurgencies require... safe havens and funding...

I think the CIA and IC writ large work with the drug cartels, arms dealers, and human traffickers to ensure their existence and in doing so, they get to grift billions off the top to fund their insurgency of America. No congressional funding is required.

They only need the active support of a few enabling individuals (the top of the IC departments) ... but the passive acquiescence of a large proportion of the contested population will give a higher probability of success. (everyone not awake)

Too many people are still fast asleep. I honestly don't know what will wake them up. As much as the heat has been turned up it feels like it needs to be turned up much hotter to get the pot boiling and the frogs to jump out.
