I love these same videos. Their reaction to white music is amazing and positive. Gets real good when they figure out certain songs, they've loved their whole lives, are actually white folks, best example is the Bee Gees Staying Alive.
Country and Rock, Old country like Hank Sr., Merle,Conway, a few others. New country like Kane Brown and Luke Combs Fast Car. Rock, a few from the 50-60, a lot from the 70,80, 90. A little bit of newer stuff. I live in Nashville but am only doing Karaoke. Plan on winters in the Philippines and recruiting a band. I can sing well over 1,000 songs.
With the Internet Filipinas like newer stuff these days, but their old geezer expats from Europe, the USA, Aus, etc... will like hearing their own generation's music. I don't care about making money at it, I'll let the Filipino band have the money.
We moved to Nashville and it has been great for me, the good thing about Nashville is there's a lot of Talent. The bad thing about Nashville there's a lot of Talent.
Yeah, the Parthenon, pass by it on the bus and haven't been there yet. I'm going to go to one of those vanity recording studios for tourists here. 150 for 1 song, 75 for each additional, and record 3 songs. They just use backing tracks unless you have a band... If it goes well I'll go back.
Philly has lots of Patriots. Philly has a Democrat machine problem.
Very good Musicians abound in Philly and they will practice anytime day.
What's good in Philly is very very good.
How did y'all trade Orlando for Philly?
My sister's daughter and family moved there and my sister moved there when she retired. I'm not on good terms, they are all too brainwashed... Nashville had a job offer through my wife's cousin for her so we moved here after living in my wife's country 3 years.
I'm a senior and work as a security guard because my SS isn't enough money.
I'm not musically educated, I don't know what note is what, and I'm too autistic to do scales or trills, so I have my own strategy. I'd read somewhere that you can learn to sing by singing a wide variety of songs.
I was already in my 50's when I started singing, my father was supposedly a good singer and met my mother and they eloped after she became infatuated with his singing. He met all his future wives and GF that way. So maybe love of singing is in my DNA. Unfortunately, my father was a murderer, he and my mom were both drunks and he punched my mother in the belly while pregnant with me. I got a lazy eye from that, but the baby a year later only lived 4 days. Probably punched harder...
So, I never persued singing when young, but then started singing Karaoke in the Philippines when I went to get married there. They use cabinets like video game machines for Karaoke there and will deliver anywhere when you rent them. My goal is to become a better singer than dear ol' dad, but I'll never know when/if I'll get there so I intend to keep improving. Heh
Many of these young folk wish they They were born in that Era
