No I'm not joking. I've never heard of the word. How do you pronounce it? Is it really pronounced like the letter Q ?
It's a term that's useful when doing simulations for motion studies of discrete elements (vehicle traffic, manufacturing conveyors with pallets on multiple paths, Automated Guided Vehicles, even people filtering through checkout lines in stores). Very similar to a buffer.
