It's true though.. look at kids in China, Russia... they even depicted characters of kids in anime like Dragonball, One Piece, all to have started learning/working & apprenticeship, and gaining experience as young as 12 y.o and they're king of pirates or master Chef by the age of 18 and time to start a family. LOL
I myself wish my parents taught me this way..perhaps I'd have been a "master" of something now.. even carpentry would suffice.
Now you get your masters mid to late 20s and “begin” your career 15 years late.
Youre right. Parents sent kids to apprentice with someone in town.
The problem with that in modern times is you find out all too late the “masters”of today are pedophiles...

Yup.. and then college is so expensive. I think it's more useful to homeschool college level education to our teens starting from 12 and learn a skill ..masonry, woodwork, welder, blacksmith, mechanics, harvesting bees, cooking, and so on.
Asian parents focus much on music..but that's kinda silly because it doesn't produce anything for survival, just prestige and entertainment.
Music is about intelligence, information processing and discipline. IQs of violin and pianists are through the roof. Asians know what they are doing.
Spot on, music stimulates both sides of your brain and is very logical.
I know a few people that are absolutely brilliant and they play piano as a hobby.
They're disciplined and have great food, but the porn problem there is wrecking their future generations, or potential lack there of.
Ok..I agree with that..but they don't teach them character development or being brave and standing up for what's right , that's why they make the perfect robots or slaves who don't ask questions. They are very smart don't get me wrong, but most are jabbed..uhhh
I know... I just feel like there's way too many (ratio wise) dancers, singers, musicians (like the whole damn Glee town) in comparison to men and women who want to learn and do what the ancients did, building, survival, real skills, so we don't rely on modern tech like cookie cutter clothing, ikea, that sort of thing you know..
For example, a lot of the ancient statues, buildings... we are not capable of building those in 2024. We're deteriorating rapidly as mankind.
You can still be a Master of a Trade....
Just go to one of the Trade schools, or buy the Equipment for a Trade, and watch the online Videos, Practice is what it takes to get there, not some piece of Paper hanging on a wall....
My father had 3 college degrees and he always told me, 'It's not the smartest people that graduate college. It's the ones that keep going back, go back long enough and they will eventually hand you a degree'.
One of our professors told us the degree is helpful for getting hired not because of what we will know, but it shows that we have the stamina to get through another 4 years of school.
Yeah that's pretty much how it goes....
My Ex almost got her Doctorate in Accounting, but she had her second Husband do part of her Final Thesis, and he plagiarized all of what he contributed....
So, there it is, years of CollAge, and nothing to show for it, but she's ""Smart"".....
