Rode our bikes without helmets, rode in the car with no seatbelts, rode in the back of pickups, sat on dad’s lap while he was driving the car, played all day with no supervision and no fear of getting snatched, solved our relational problems on our own (sometimes w/ fists), “sticks and stones may break our bones, but names will never hurt me” was our mantra, sucked it up if we got physically hurt, had a huge sense of “fairness”…
My Gen X kids I think were the last of the free range children. My grandchildren are doing about the same. So far, no one has called the police on their parents.
Baby Boomers here, may I humbly add,
created games to play with the neighborhood kids outside,
ate homemade from scratch meals on a daily basis not once in a while,
looked up words in the dictionary to learn how to spell it and what the said word meant,
ate fruit off the tree dirty and enjoyed it, respected all elders,
always used "please" and "thank you",
rarely talked back to parents, and when did, hearing "what 'til your father get's home"
TV wasn't on 24/7
Phone calls after 10pm meant bad news
And get emotionally twisted up because people don't give them respect on Facebook. When is this shit going to stop. It's a coordinated push, you know what you are doing. Generational warfare and division is solely your intention.
Don’t mess with Baby Boomers. They played outside until it got dark and drank from garden hoses!

And there were no swallow warning stickers on my toys...
Or trigger warnings on our Saturday morning cartoons.
We had lawn darts! 😳
So did Gen X.

Yes we did.
What a satisfying video. Watching grandma still wearing her purse while kicking the shit out of Karen was a breath of fresh air!
"Watching grandma", wearing sandals, "still wearing her purse while. . ." LOL.
The attackers look like millennials.

As a first hand participant I can attest to the truthfulness of that statement.
