Why did you intentionally crop out the American flag with the tagline "Honoring those who sacrificed"?
And then the banner itself is a link to a search for Memorial Day.
Im no friend of Google but this post is all kinds of fucked up. We dont need bullshit like this to make our case.
There are a fair number of lying fucks on this site (blocked and hidden). I get more than enough lies and other crap from corporate media...
Clicking on the banner or the link below it both take you to a page of results to learn more about the meaning of Memorial Day, and a poppies animation at the bottom.
Seems pretty decent to me.
ummmm My browser doesnt have anything but what I posted. Now its just Google in the standard google colors
OP you edited out the little flag and the phrase "Honoring those who sacrificed".
This isn't reddit.
Clicking it brings up a nice little animation with poppies.

Yeah it gets a footnote rather than any art. It's a subtle fuck you from Google.
Edit: surprised to get Downvoted pointing out the obvious. If it's diversity or some other bullshit gets full on art. Otherwise anythingAmerican just gets some half assed text.
I worked for Google. I can promise you however anti American you think they are isn't even half of it
I would actually assume the grayed letters are for Memorial Day. Aren't they usually brightly colored? Honestly, that looks respectful--we know they aren't going to make it patriotic with red, white, and blue, but I can accept this as recognition of the day.

lying fucks, they credit some general for the first memorial day back in 1868, the real memorial day was started in 1866 by freed South Carolina blacks, these fucks want to divide our great nation and keep it that way
I assume you are looking at the first search result which is the wiki page?
To be fair wiki attributes the first NATIONAL observance to 1868 and Commander in Chief of the Grand Army of the Republic, John A. Logan.
It then goes on to say:
So while they dont credit 1866 and the freed SC blacks it does make note that it wasnt created by Logan out of the blue.
Ill finish by adding what I said to the op, "Im no friend of Google but this post is all kinds of fucked up. We dont need bullshit like this to make our case."
Edit to add some follow up research on Mary Ann Williams:

Yeah because you're not allowed your culture.
This is exactly how it looks on my phone. Jusayin.
What does this say? The disrespect is sickening.
You just accept this op at face value without checking it yourself? I thought we had moved beyond this.
A banner for Halloween but not for Memorial day!? Omg...
