IT'S NOT JUST PHOTOSHOP doing this!
I have noticed that when I am putting together a Word document for myself, taking notes on my computer and have the Spell Check on, it will stop me from using certain phrases or words that it deems politically incorrect. First, let me say, that spell check should have no opinion on what words anyone uses, only whether they are spelled correctly!
I guess if I wanted Grammarly to teach me how to better phrase something, I would buy that and expect that. But I didn't and I don't. Instead, all I expect from Spell Check in Microsoft Word is for it to tell me if I forgot an apostrophe or misspelled a word.
I mean, how dare they tell me I cannot use the word 'homosexual' or 'lesbian' or 'tranny' or 'obese' or 'fat' or 'white genocide' in a personal document or notes on something I am reading or watching. This is not when I am writing an email or text, just on a personal document or a description on a photo on my computer. It will highlight the word or phrase and say, "This sentence/word may be triggering and offensive to some parties. Consider revising it."
Spell Check is turned off now at all times. I do not like Big Brother policing my private documents!
wow, microsoft is doing this too? didn't see that one coming. too bad there arent any alternatives to word.
just kidding. why the fuck are you using word? its been the worst for decades, and that's why it has spawned a vast amount of alternatives. this is a stupid problem for stupid people.
I've been using it for 30 years in my work and it is a universally understood document application. I have literally thousands of documents on that platform.
As it has worked well for me I never needed to use a different program. Why don't you suggest the actual superior ones instead of insulting me and calling me stupid just because you didn't understand how to utilize Word?
LibreOffice...................
Seriously, try it....
OK. I just might.

Of course I know how to Google. What I was looking for were your own personally verified recommendations, rather than a generic Google search.
You do realize LibreOffice exists, and it's been my go to MS Word replacement since 2015 when they made it a subscription program
:) i'm glad we can all come together to help each other through these troubled times, despite our various flaws.
