Little less than an hour ago, for the first time in my life. I have just been baptized not once but twice, since I wasn't fully submerged under water with the first attempt.
After I was finished being baptized, I felt completely invigorated and really cleansed by Him both spiritually and physically.
Like I really never felt anything like it before, it's only God Himself who can do this miracle and no one else can preform such.
No more of the sins that I committed shall bare any mark or does any shame remain within me, since they are now washed away forever.
Before I did get baptized, I already had relationship with God ever since I was a very young kid so basically 20+ years but haven't baptized yet until today.
Admittedly, I initially didn't have the intention to get baptized three weeks ago. I know it was God Himself had destined for me to get baptized today.
Unitially I wanted to get baptized on my own timing, since as of right now my life has gotten pretty busy and whatnot.
But it turns out, this was done sooner than I even expected myself, since it's always according to His Timing and Purposes than of oneself.
If anyone else here hasn't gotten baptized yet, you should do it as I encourage you. God takes the sins of the world away and forgives all your iniquities and washes you white like snow, is it better to live and die for Christ than for your own personal gain.
Well friends I hope you have an amazing weekend, God is great and always mighty to save those who call upon on His Name.
I'll see you guys when I can post, until then God be with you always.
Ave Christ and All Glory To Him! Amen!
Thank you, I might follow your example.
You're welcome, THE LORD leads and guides us in His Ways than our own because we don't know anything without Him.
We truly live for Him in all that we do, and for none other except for Our Lord and Savior.
Blessings to you friend!
Well , he lives , because you have Faith.
Neither shall men say, Lo here, or lo there: for behold, the kingdom of God is within you. -- Luke 17 : 21 -- 1599 Geneva
I agree! Obedience to Him is what also really matters.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
(Hebrews 11:6 NKJV.)
I Am.
Baptism an outward expression of an inward work. The old man (the old you) stays in the water, with all its past sin, a picture of dying to oneself, then coming out of the water, a picture of being raised a new person in Christ Jesus.(Romans 6:8) " Old things have passed away, behold all things have become new"(2 Corinthians 5 5:14-21) Saul becomes Paul. Paul received his new name, we will receive our new name on that day.(Revelations 14:7) "And they shall see His face and His name shall be on their foreheads"(Revelations 22:4) So powerful and permanent is this change, that the Apostle Paul before he was converted and was still Saul (he) dragged Christians into jail and was there consenting to the stoning death of Steven, yet after his conversion and baptism, Paul wrote the church and said receive us we've wrong no man, how could Paul say that, he had blood on his hands, but yes, Paul could say that with a perfect a conscience, knowing he was not the same person anymore, a new life had begun, all his sins were washed away as if they had never happened. Paul went from persecuting Christians, to dying for the gospel. Paul wrote "I am persuaded dear brothers to know nothing among you, except Jesus Christ and him crucified"(1 Corinthians 2:2) "Whom the Son sets free is free indeed"( John 8:36) it's the freedom that you are now experiencing and expressing to us. My spirit rejoices with you. No one can (now) separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus. 🙏
Amen.
Congratulations. I’m so happy for you. there’s nothing like being in alignment with Christ, and knowing exactly where life is taking you. Continue to walk in Him
Colossians 2:6-10 “As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.”

God Bless You Brother
You too as well brother in Christ!
Blessings for your new life in the Holy Trinity!
A very beautiful and powerful post my dear friend! I'm happy you shared this meaningful experience with your family here. May you continue to walk in the easy yoke of Jesus. This is our true path, to be one with Our Father.
Baptized the in Spirit here many moons ago.
Thank you Jesus, another soul saved!
Thanks for posting the news! This was SO awesome to hear! I always love hearing about or seeing adult baptisms. They remind me of one of the most powerful scenes in the epic 1977 film "Jesus of Nazareth," when John the Baptist is baptizing people in the river and suddenly Jesus appears. Michael York's acting in this scene is magnificent, and what the two say to each other is also very important.
Almost overcome by the majesty of seeing the Lord, John says to him "It is I who need baptism by You, and yet You come to me." Then in reply, Jesus, the Son of God Himself, says "Let it be so. We must fulfill all righteousness."
If anyone had any questions about whether they should be baptized, this should answer them. Being baptized is definitely something we all need to do.
I've heard it said that when a person is born again, there is such happiness in heaven that all the choirs of angels sing out in happiness. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the same glorious thing happened during baptism!
Welcome to the "family, brother!" You are now a part of the Bride of Christ. Praise God!!
What baptism means to me, is that God has removed the sins that I once committed myself before I really chose to fully devote and surrender all of me over to His Ways forever where I cannot ever turn back to what's dead and forever gone.
It's also where I received His Holy Spirit and my sins become washed clean, every single one of them and none is left to where I am ashamed of myself.
We all fall short of His Glory, and yes we will sin occasionally whether knowingly or not as none of us are perfect hence God sending His One and Only Begotten Son to die for all of our sins and that not one of us shall perish but have everlasting life.
Just as God died on the cross for us of all, and when we all give our lives to Him.
Our old ways which were of this world are left behind at that grave since that was what we all were guilty of, just as He defeated death forever by dying for everyone's sins and saving us all from eternal suffering.
What baptism means to me, is that I myself no longer choose to follow my own ways but I obey THE LORD and His Words no matter the consequences that will follow.
When you also become baptized, you receive The Holy Spirit as you become white like snow.
There's more to it than that, if Jesus was baptized by Peter who was a human and also keep in mind.
That was the first act that He did as the start of His Ministry, God also instructs for us to also do it since He commands His Apostles.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of The Father, and of The Son, and of The Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19–20).
After we become baptized, we are to do the same for those who gave their lives over to Him as it was with us when we first became believers.
The Father was also well pleased when Jesus was baptized, He also is with us when we ourselves become baptized and receive His Holy Spirit within us.
16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. 17 And suddenly A Voice came from Heaven, saying, “This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
(Matthew 3:16-17 NKJV.)
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me. Blessings to you friend!
