Media cannot call out that they, themselves killed their own golden egg layer. Plenty of people on YouTube are reacting to movies, they should have the numbers that even there people are mainly watching reactions to the older movies that had good story lines.

They would rather watch their industry die than correct their course. They are the ones that moved on from their audience. If they gave their audience what it wanted then there wouldn't be as much of a problem as there is.

Canon's Rebel camera made a giant stir in Hollywood, when it came out. IMO that was the beginning of the end. So many kids were suddenly attempting shoe-string productions. The cameras were relatively cheap, so everyone on set could own one, and could then record cinema-screen sized video. Great! And of course Youtube happened. Trouble is, youtubers got hold of those cameras and were making HD vids for their loyal audiences. Youtube had to update really quickly to take all that data. I 'member Hollywood fighting back, by trying to roll Pewdiepie up in their shenanigans - they tried to set his character into one of a screaming idiot that only played horror vidya. I watched him everyday, as he became more and more depressed, and eventually he told them to go away. Many fans worried about him at the time. Luckily he had strong support from his family and girl-friend, and some other friends too. But he did say that alcohol was a problem. (And yes I am 19 years old LOLOL).
Now, my propaganda filters are set so much higher.
I’ve notice most of the new stuff doesn’t have any characters you can root for. They are all horrible people.
Also we don’t need every single minority (esp gay and trans) featured using leftist stereotypes. The immigrant is always some kinda Einstein the black guy is always the hero and the white guy is the bumbling fool.
Well, they keep trying to remake and reimagine characters, stories and universes that are already established and set in stone, then introduce nonsense LGBT or DEI concepts into a world where it essentially didn't exist, or say a character that has existed for 50+ years is suddenly flamboyantly gay that wasn't before, or changing the race or gender of a well established character. The fact that they thought it would be a good idea is laughable.
I think Voyager was underrated. Yeah, there were some dud episodes but there were also a lot of good ones. Almost all of them are better than 90% of what's being produced today.
How many bad remakes can one take. Lets see the characters, strong black woman as the lead, gay guy, white guy is dumb, some opressed person. Really bad bad writing as well.I couldnt tell you the last time I watched a movie.

They are basically required to make their movies bad at this point. They all have to follow the DUI formula in order to qualify for rewards and such.
