It’s incredible how they flip on these people on narrative command, ain’t it?
Someone else says to flip on this person, pro or con, and they do it like good little circus monkeys.
We certainly have to guard how we consider people (e.g. Pence), but generally it seems like we try to at least put more effort into identifying them by what they’re actually doing.
There is a theory that Pence did what he did with Trump’s approval in order to move things how they needed to move during this period of time, even though doing so would ruin his reputation and involve a lot of risk and suffering.
One reasoning for it being that if Pence was indeed a traitor, Trump is an idiot for putting him in direct line to the presidency.
We may never know for certain. Maybe he got flipped. Who knows? Surprised you haven’t heard it, it’s a fairly widespread theory.
Point though, when things are sketchy, withhold judgment, but to the extent we can, try and discern things through actions and outcomes.
Wow. Great skit with Rudy Giuliani, Jim Breuer and Tracy Morgan. Never seen this before. And they make Rudy the hero. Pre 9/11 I'm guessing.
Rudy was supposedly 'taking out the trash' in NY at the time.
