He implemented tarrifs, fought for the gold standard, and made America great again after an economic depression. Nowhere in my schooling was I ever taught about McKinley.

"McKinley was the last president to have served in the American Civil War; he was the only one to begin his service as an enlisted man, and ended it as a brevet major."
"Re-elected in 1900, McKinley was assassinated by an anarchist in Buffalo, New York, in September 1901."
Totally just a random anarchist. /s
Also he might have lived if they had left the bullet in him instead of doing one botched surgery after another and infecting him with sepsis. It was the doctors who ultimately killed him.
And yeah I don't recall him ever mentioned once all the way to high school. I learned about him from the History channel instead and only about his assassination really.
So business as usual for the doctors even back then. And I think President Garfield was assasinated.
I’m noticing a pattern in presidents that are impeached (Nixon) or assassinated. They were trying to reign in the central banks or were very popular with the people.
Assassin had ties to Emma Goldman.
Assassination was at the Worlds Fair.
It was at the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo NY.
So Buffalo was a liberal shithole even way back then.
Oh so sad.
