I'm writing this in response to sentiment I see over and over again in posts and comments regarding Bannon being locked up. I'm not going to focus on him being locked up, but I am going to present some facts that I discovered while doing a relatively light dig trying to satisfy my own curiosity regarding Bannon and where his allegiance truly lies.
It's clear to anyone here on GA, that despite doomers saying, "nothing's happening" - the reality is there's quite a bit happening on a daily basis if you really open your eyes. To be fair, there's a LOT of information to sift through in order to get the full story or even one that is informative enough to ascertain what the real deal is.
The problem, as I see it, is that many anons are not capable of disseminating large quantities of information quickly and comprehending what's really being said about a given topic. It takes intent & dedication to see it through - and quite frankly, everybody has a life and lots of things going on already.
So the tendency to "round off the edges & cut the corner" is pretty common, but as with everything in life, that has a cost. The cost is, many miss things, make wrong assumptions and for brevity - just go along with whatever is the most popular sentiment. There's danger in that, which is why I think Q specifically told us several times to, "be careful who you follow".
I'm just as "guilty" as anyone else here in that regard, because there IS a lot of info to breakdown on an ongoing basis. I rely on anons that, through their past track record, have demonstrated that they're not just copy/pasting outlandish bs from RRN or some other whack-a-doodle source, but actually reading the info and reliably breaking it down without distorting it via some agenda. So to all the contributors "on the level" - thank you for your service to us.
The real crux of why I am posting this is, not all anons who post or sources where people are fed are completely forthcoming. Vital info gets completely left out - whether deliberately or because they didn't dig deep enough. Unfortunately, there's often a race to be first - not necessarily to be factually correct - in order to be the first one to post, garner "internet points" and whatever other ego stroking action gives rise to shaking a few more picograms out of their dopamine receptors.
There's an ASSumption here, that Bannon is a patriotic "good guy" - and he's so dedicated - he does that "War Room" thing every day and he's getting locked up because he's on "our side". It's the BLIND assumption that he is "on our side" and so he "must be innocent" and unfairly targeted by the DS lawfare apparatus - just like Trump.
Speaking of Trump...Let's have a look at what Trump said about Bannon over the years AND why he said those things. I like to think that DJT is a pretty good judge of character, even if from our perspective it seems like he has endorsed some real dingdongs in the past - I chalk that up to 5D chess and the fact that we are very much at war - and we anons don't know what he knows. As digital soldiers, we have a limited amount of information to work with and I'd say some of that is a result of the proverbial "need to know" in the chain of command.
Let's start by taking a look at Bannon's role in the Trump administration:
"In 2016, Bannon became the chief executive officer of Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and was appointed chief strategist and senior Counselor to the President following Trump's election. He left the position eight months later and rejoined Breitbart." Source
What does Trump despise more than anything else? Lies & disloyalty. I can't say I feel any differently about that, although I'll add "stealing" to that list as well.
What went down while Bannon was an advisor to Trump?
- Bannon was leaking privileged information which cost a Republican Senate seat in AL (among other things)
- Bannon released a book, with scumbag Michael Wolff - who talked shit about Trump and his family specifically, “They’re going to crack Don Jr. like an egg on national TV,” Bannon said.
- Bannon was quoted in the book describing a meeting between Mr. Trump's son and a group of Russians as "treasonous". (He did Trump NO FAVORS with the Russia Collusion bs he was fighting)
Trump responded in a tweet regarding this book:
Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book. He used Sloppy Steve Bannon, who cried when he got fired and begged for his job. Now Sloppy Steve has been dumped like a dog by almost everyone. Too bad! RE: https://x.com/realDonaldTrump/status/949498795074736129
This is where the term, Sloppy Steve Bannon came from. I see many downvoting others in the comment section because they have no clue what it is in reference to. They just view it as a dig on Bannon in blissful ignorance because they don't do their homework.
Let's have a look at Trump's Whitehouse statement regarding "Sloppy Steve":
Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind. Steve was a staffer who worked for me after I had already won the nomination by defeating seventeen candidates, often described as the most talented field ever assembled in the Republican party.
Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn’t as easy as I make it look. Steve had very little to do with our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women of this country. Yet Steve had everything to do with the loss of a Senate seat in Alabama held for more than thirty years by Republicans. Steve doesn’t represent my base—he’s only in it for himself.
Steve pretends to be at war with the media, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time at the White House leaking false information to the media to make himself seem far more important than he was. It is the only thing he does well. Steve was rarely in a one-on-one meeting with me and only pretends to have had influence to fool a few people with no access and no clue, whom he helped write phony books.
We have many great Republican members of Congress and candidates who are very supportive of the Make America Great Again agenda. Like me, they love the United States of America and are helping to finally take our country back and build it up, rather than simply seeking to burn it all down.” 1 2
Here's more on how Bannon was completely disrespectful, in opposition to the Trump administration:
“The three senior guys in the campaign thought it was a good idea to meet with a foreign government inside Trump Tower in the conference room on the 25th floor—with no lawyers. They didn’t have any lawyers,” Bannon said, per Wolff. “Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad shit, and I happen to think it’s all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately.”
Bannon predicted that Special Counsel Robert Mueller would go after all three participants for money-laundering, citing Mueller’s hiring of experienced financial-crimes prosecutor Andrew Weissmann. “They’re going to crack Don Jr. like an egg on national TV,” Bannon said. Sauce
Well...well...well - It looks like Bannon isn't the innocent saint everyone thinks he is. I see people reacting in the comments and elsewhere that we should, "Pray for poor Steve Bannon"...all the while knowing the selfish bs he did, compromising the president with his part in the Russian hoax AND talking shit about Trump's family in the book. It's enough to make me puke from the sheer ignorance of anons who are too lazy to dig deeper. We’re all human and all make assumptions from time to time. I get that. But blindly “running with the popular herd” on certain topics makes us all look dumb.
What's this about Bannon leaking intel though?
Bannon claims he thought his comments were off-the-record, but the White House, which already believes the former Breitbart chairman (notable) was leaking damaging information about his colleagues to the press, is clearly not buying them. A White House adviser normally on collegial terms with Bannon told Swan: “Since Steve apparently enjoys casually undermining U.S. national security, I'll put this in terms he'll understand: This is DEFCON 1-level bad.” RE
Every once in a while I'd see a post from an anon I respected and considered well informed that eluded to the fact that Bannon was a Paytriot or Grifter, but I never really followed up with that. I decided to have a look while digging on the whole "Bannon goes to jail" thing to see if I turned up anything. There is of course the book and whatever publicity and cash he got from that, but what else?
Here's Bannon framing Trump as a dictator (nice, right? from a so-called patriot we believed to be one of Trump’s closest advisors and ally?) and how the 2020 election is all going to go down: Audio of Bannon
His comments just seem shitty...and unbecoming of a real patriot who is supposed to be on our side, don't you think? It’s as if Steve is just out for himself and convincing others that he thinks he’s more important than he really is to the Trump team.
Bannon says he's "proud to be a Christian Zionist" - WTF does that mean exactly? It's convenient how that's proudly plastered across Breitbart who BTW is essentially propped up and fed by Israel and Mossad. The sentiment that he's a Christian Zionist is mirrored here as well.
Given Bannon's past employment with Breitbart and post-Whitehouse employment as well, I don't think it's too far of a stretch to consider the fact that Bannon himself could be "on the take" from Israeli operatives, mossad or some other mechanism of Israel. Where there's smoke there's fire. For instance, have a look at this article titled:Israeli Zionists have been controlling U.S. government with espionage for DECADES, including influencing “alternative” media
If all of this seem like sloppy conjecture I apologize - clearly I am not a professional journalist...just a volunteer soldier in this digital army - but consider this connection and revelation for a moment in light of Bannon’s role and relationship with Breitbart:
Here's a tweet in regards to Breitbart and their relationship with IsraelRE
Monica Lewinsky was a Jewish spy used to blackmail Bill Clinton
Benjamin Netanyahu Demand Clinton Pardon Infamous Spy Jonathan Pollard, or he would leak the tape
Clinton was unable to, so the tape was leaked to Israeli intelligence Matt Drudge and Andrew Breitbart
They used this to blow up the Drudge report to a top news site
Andrew Breitbart then flew to Israel and met with Netanyahu where they started Breitbart news
Breitbart personally took Ben Shapiro under his wing and helped groom him
Shapiro went on to form and run the Israeli Wire
As you can see you aren't just getting news from jews you are getting it from Israeli intelligence
THERE'S MORE TO BANNON AND BREITBART THAN MEETS THE EYE, DON'T YOU THINK???
Yeah okay, but what about Bannon being a Paytriot or Grifter? What about that?
It's important to make the distinction here that there are several court cases that Bannon is involved in. One is the bs "contempt of Congress" charge he is going to jail for, that I agree is bs given the 2 tiered justice system we are all witnessing. BUT - It's important to note that this has COMPLETELY OVERSHADOWED Bannon's other Civil case where he misappropriated money he collected from patriots to "finish the wall". Nobody seems to know ANYTHING about that and the general sentiment is, “Oh poor Steve…pray for this patriot” etc.
Bannon is also facing criminal charges in New York state court alleging he duped donors who gave money to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. Bannon has pleaded not guilty to money laundering, conspiracy, fraud and other charges, and that trial has been postponed until at least the end of September. RE
The co-founder of a fundraising group linked to Steve Bannon that promised to help Donald Trump construct a wall along the southern U.S. border was sentenced to four years and three months in prison on Wednesday for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from donors. Sauce
The what now? Wait, you mean Bannon took it upon himself to just "help Trump out" by fleecing hundreds of thousands of patriots out of their donations to allegedly finish the wall on our Southern Border? Yep.
I dunno dude...Bannon seems like a patriot and he does that show everyday...he wouldn't do something like that. Well let's see what Justice.gov says about it:Brian Kolfage, Stephen Bannon, and Two Others Alleged to Have Funneled Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars From the Organization to Kolfage; All Four Defendants Allegedly Profited From Their Roles in the Scheme
In truth, KOLFAGE, BANNON, BADOLATO, and SHEA received hundreds of thousands of dollars in donor funds from We Build the Wall, which they each used in a manner inconsistent with the organization’s public representations.
Say what you will about the US Attorney's SDNY, but I don't think in this case they're off base.
While spending time trying to build links with other right-wing nationalist movements in Europe and around the world, Bannon, now 70, also found himself increasingly facing legal trouble.
In 2020, he was indicted on charges of money laundering, fraud and conspiracy, accused of cheating donors to a priv
All I'll say is what I have been telling everyone here since... Well since I've been here.
There was a sprawling interview with Bannon either during Trump's resurgence in the race '16 {which was being credited to Bannon at the time} or just after winning.
In it, Bannon compared himself to Thomas Cromwell.
King Henry's advisor, who of course, was beheaded.
Bannon knew at the time while at his highest point he was to be sacrificed, which leads me to believe it was all part of the plan and everything we see now is as well.
Everything after that is an act between the two.
Agreed. To me it seems like being apart of the administration you get "read in" then unceremoniously fired. Pops up and destroys them with war room impeachment and pandemic. Say what you want, but the coverage war room did on the vaccines early on was explosive and the truth of the matter.
Regardless of Bannon’s reliability or not, and until this whole mess settles, we should really try withholding judgment on everyone, it should be much easier to agree that Breitbart News’s style, as a whole, is pretty lackluster, misses a lot of key details, is often as bad about citing sources as any mainstream newspaper, the writing is often oversimplified and shallow, and even Bannon’s podcast is also fairly … it’s hard to say it doesn’t have good content because it’s just so hard to watch. I’m not a Bannon or Breitbart fan, except for Andrew, who was an absolute honey badger.
That said, it’s hard enough to just keep an eye on ourselves to be sure we personally aren’t acting in a way that’s going to have negative results. “Plank in your own eye” and such.
Keeping “oh that person is absolutely a good/bad actor” limited to a very small handful of people is the way to go. “Fairly well give that person credibility/no cred” can be bigger, but not too big. “Check all” should be the default for the big middle, and still spot-applied to the others.
I do like the post a lot, though. Very good digging u/TaQo! Lots of things to keep in mind when considering credibility.
Edit: your addendum looks like you’re actually trying to encourage the same way of thinking, I didn’t catch that.
Well yeah... Even if Bannon is clandestinely working with Trump, it doesn't necessarily mean he's "good'. Or even that they're "good".
I don't trust anyone enough to definitively state good or bad.
I'm just showing that it was obviously the plan for Bannon to fall on the sword. To what end is tbd
Oh I didn’t mean anything otherwise. The comment was more intended to be agreeing with you, just elaborating some.
Trump likes to kayfabe w ppl
Agreed
