The only thing that these monsters are good at it is destroy countries and lives of good citizens. They don’t build anything, they destroy.
These threshholds, 25K for singles; 32K for marrieds, were in place when I entered the tax prep industry in the late '80's. Very few retired folks hit them.
Today they are STILL 25/32, and almost ALL hit them. As an aside, Slick Willy added another 35% in the '90's.

My first trip to NYC was around Christmas 1983 as a teen on a school trip, and we stopped in at Trump Tower to see this very escalator and multi-story wall-fountain. It was breathtaking to a kid from the sticks. I had no idea how new the place was at the time!
I saw a video showing the value of Trump Tower in NY estimated to be 1 Billion dollars and Mar-a-Largo worth 550 million. The video was several years old also!

Interesting... youre right that its been slightly enhanced. Definitely 'sharpen' tools used which is why the plant leaves behind him are also less blurry in the twitter version. They might have been a bit too heavy with the contrast/levels adjustment which is why the stripes on his shirt disappear.
They could also have used ai to do this. You can now use ai to do things like enhance/sharpen old photos and regain some of the pixels/details that have been lost in the process of scanning and then compressing to small jpg files.
But well spotted anon. The enhancement wasnt really necessary, but certainly doenst make him look younger than the original Time Magazine photo.
