Probably one reason why they're making it known that they will only be using Halal meat now. It's much better quality than the non-Halal stuff they've been using.

The bit about the next part being women wearing a veil to get into Canadian KFCs is just silly. It's like saying that Chik fil a will require women to wear long skirts and not cut their hair (Pentecostal denomination standards).
Take the religion out of it and halal chicken is always better than regular commercial.
Halal chickens have to be free range, fed clean water and real food, and can not be electroshocked or mechanically separated for processing.

KFC in Canada is already dying, so no concern there.
The chicken has been shit for the last decade and stores have been slowly shutting the doors since. This will likely just speed up the process.
