I might use this in a song, but maybe i'll leave it as a poem.
Godbless, frens.
"It's hard to be the good guy, in a world gone bad
It's hard to be sane, in a world gone mad
It's hard to fight the war, when you up against demons
It's hard to keep score, when they won't stop cheatin
It's hard to say a lie, when you was raised to tell the truth
It's hard to survive, So I shed a tear for the youth
It's even harder for them, got kids confused about gender
so i'll be a martyr for them, or this will last forever
It's hard to be a patriot, in some days so bonkers
They call that the enemy, cause they want us conquered
It's hard to be the good guy, But i'd never switch teams
Thank god I had a good life, but it aint been sweet since 16
It's hard to keep a smile, when they spent trillions to make us frown
It's hard to be in denial, when I take a look around
It's hard to be us, but I wouldn't have it any other way
It's hard to build an ark, but I say to let it rain"
...outstanding!
If the dog approves, I must have done something right! lol
...listen to the muse that lives inside of you and when it speaks, answer it's call...
amen
Seconding enthusiastic doggy howls...the perfect accompaniment until a composer shows up ;)
As I said, most my writings are actually intended to be lyrics. But, poetry is where that all starts. Since you frens seemed to enjoy it, I think I will record it. Thanks for the support!
...doggy winks...
WOW! Well done!
<3 thank you
Let it rain and then rain some more, 40 days of flood is nothing compared to the storm. We are ready.
God taught us how to float above water. Those with the millstones on their necks can sink.
This is really good!
<3 Appreciate that. glad you enjoyed!
Why the downvote? Great Job Fren
If you have an open door, you can't expect everyone that walks through it to be your friend. We have people that frequent this page that aren't one of us. I'm not worried about the one downvote, I just appreciate the upvotes. :)
LOVE IT
<3
Nice! Imagine how many people have felt this way in the last centuries with no recourse! We are blessed to be alive to see this second coming of truth!
Nice

a young man who just might turn things around in the music industry!
well, I'm 35 and my body is already falling apart I dont know how young I am LOL
But, I've been making music since I was 13 and I have no interest to be part of the industry. Sure, some people need to clean septic tanks but i'd rather not be the one to jump into that cess pool lmao
I more prefer to just be a hobbyist about it. Let my frens hear it, and thats good enough for me.
But, that said -There's alot of folks out there willing to carry that cross though. Here is someone i'd like to show you, If you aren't familiar with Struggle Jennings.
He is the grandson of Waylon Jennings and in this song he actually even mentions Q. To my knowledge, he's the only one "in the industry" to ever mention Q. At 0:31 he says Dont celebrate quite yet the storm is comin Q for heaven's sake - I have posted this here before. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYJBxlpfgxo

I never mind seeing someone take a creative work and adding their own spin to it. I'd like to see how this sounds, since my stuff is more of a 'rap style' and will sound very different once it's recorded (which I plan on doing today)
But nice job adding your own to it!
