He dragged in what looks like a ten foot step ladder and no one saw a thing

Yep. We have one. Very heavy and awkward to move. Takes 2 people…minimum. Had it delivered bc we don’t own a vehicle big enough to transport it.
You can hang a 12' ladder out of a 7' pickup bed ----- 5' will hang out
One person can stand it up if you know what you are doing.
You shove the base where the wall meets the the ground and walk it up. Then move the base out away from the building. Pull the rope for the extension if needed. Have done it myself.
It's not that type of ladder. It's an A Frame ladder, no extension. It looks like it is a 10' ladder from pic, but could be 12', can't see bottom. If it's 10', not really a big deal. A 12' ladder is very cumbersome. Not just to carry, but to drive and deliver
Extension ladders are even heavier ---- they are essentially 2 ladders.
Well, THAT’s not accurate. If you have any kind of normal strength, you can carry this on your own. Ask me how I know.
Yeah idk what they're on about, this is ridiculous, I move a ladder like this all the time, what's surprising is that security didn't stop him.
Also they're not $600, and even if they were who cares, the kid knew he was going to die and probably had a credit card, it could've been $1000
Could have been his dad’s, he could have had it for years, he could have stolen it. All possibilities although we know it was set up for him.
That doesn't weigh shit. I move a 24' extension ladder myself on the regular. It doesn't cost $600 either, as LTL said.
Agree. Can hardly believe this talk about weight and cost of ladders.
The shooter drove a full size van. He could have carried enough ladder.
But he may have had “ladder assist” and didn’t need to being one.
