I know nothing about Vance. So I just went and bought Hillbilly Elegy from Audible. Since I can't vote in your elections - I'm Finnish - I can at least try and fight, however little, the lies our MSM here spreads about Trump and undoubtedly now also of his VP.
With Trump, so far and during his first term, I mostly just tried to steer people to the videos and original sources telling the whole story, as a lot that we got here were the misleading headlines and truncated stories, as well as our news skipping other stories completely when they didn't fit the "narrative".
BTW, is there a good book about Trump and what he has accomplished so far? Preferable something not written from his side, if there is anything that would be something like a doubter or hater who changed his mind after learning more about him and getting past what your MSM claims, that would be perfect, but anything that can rightfully be claimed to be from a non-partisan source would be good too. I think I need to know more.
Or a blog? But from somebody who sometimes writes nice things about Dems or their policies too... I think something like that would work best with the people I know here. If it's all Trump good, dems monsters and so on they, if they go to my source, will dismiss everything as partisan lying. I do know at least a couple of people I think I could get to see the light, but the problem is working towards that has to be done rather delicately or I will certainly lose them. And may not work anyway, but if America will manage to clean its house we here might be able to do the same, but the very least we will need is to have voters on our side, and even a full exposure from over there might not be enough to get enough of them here. A lot of Finns don't like our current government or their policies, but I don't know, probably nobody right now does, what the percentages really are, and there seem to be way too many who still trust what the news tell them. Even among those who dislike the government and EU. And I don't see any hints whether we here have our own white hats ready to take over if things change, or not, so in the end it still might fall on things like what people will vote for.

As I have said before here, your Trump is probably also our only hope, unless you manage to clean house there we don't have a chance of doing it here.
I'm nowhere as pretty as Princess Leia (not anymore anyway) but I feel as if I am in a rather similar position, we all are, here.

That has also gotten rather more urgent after Finland joined NATO (a decision by our leaders, nobody asked the citizens) because now our press is getting full of articles and stories which very much look like as if somebody is planning to maybe use Finland as the next Ukraine. Unless it's preparing us for an actual WWIII.
