Many years ago in Berkeley, CA I went into a bookstore looking for a particular book and the heavily-pierced freakshow working there was annoyed (presumably since I didn't comment whatsoever on his mutilations) as I had him repeat something I couldn't understand (due to his large tongue piercing) then smiled and thanked him for his help, went on my way. When I lived in CA it happened various times with various freaks and they hate it when you don't tell them they look "cool" or such. No validation for the chronically attention-challenged.

Literally heard this today from a rabid lefty friend whose doctor DIL said Trump didn't need a bandage that big, was doing it for sympathy, etc. I calmly replied that I'm sure he's doing whatever his doctor said was best. Has anyone really tried to put a bandage on an ear? It's not easy. There are too many ridges to adhere it to. The only explanation for that kind of complaint is that they have TDS.
