The sad thing is this; both Fred III and his divorced, lesbian sister Mary are terribly dissatisfied with their lives because their father (Fred II) was the only 'failure' of the Trump siblings and did not leave them hundreds of millions as they expected.

Here is the synopsis as I understand it:

The family R.E. empire started by grandpa Fred Sr., asked his eldest son Fred II, to join him in the business. Fred II was not interested and declined. Instead, Donald and then later younger brother Robert, joined their father after graduating university and together began improving and expanding the company.

This R.E. empire generously paid for Fred II's university schooling, and then later, when he chose to abandon his job and instead pursue flight training, the R.E. empire financially supported him and his wife and kids while he tried to fulfill his new dream of being a pilot, only to see him fail out of his dream job and ultimately die due to his alcoholism and personal issues.

After Fred II died, the Trump family R.E. business which was then primarily run by Donald and secondarily by Fred Sr. and younger brother Robert, stepped in and financially supported Fred II's widow and children for many years.

Fred II's children (Fred III and Mary) received the finest in education, allowing Mary to obtain a doctorate in psychology. The now-famous Trump name allowed doors to open for each of them, garnering $$$ prestigious jobs that they might never have had, if not for the now ubiquitous TRUMP reputation, earned in a large part due to their uncle DJT's efforts. When Fred III's child was born with cerebral palsy, Donald Trump made sure that specialized full-time care was given to the child so that he would be well-cared for at no expense to Fred III.

All that changed after Fred Sr. and his wife passed and their will was read, giving the surviving children (Donald, Robert, Maryanne and Elizabeth) the bulk of the estate. Fred II's two children expected an equal share but didn't get it, instead got only the grandchildren's amount which was distributed equally among all grandchildren. This was not enough for Fred III and Mary who wanted the same amount as their Uncle Donald, who bought in and now was the owner of the family R.E. business and was in charge of expenditures. They sued their aunts and uncles for more and ended up receiving a 'FINAL PAYMENT' of a million more each, or so, getting it by agreeing to never revisit this subject again. They did and got their millions. After DJT became more successful and was running for president, they sued again to receive even more money from the business that DJT had owned, expanded and promoted for 40 years, which they were not entitled to in the least.

One interesting note is that when the two siblings sued their aunts and uncles and received the payout, DJT stopped funding Fred III's son's full-time medical care, madly inflaming Fred III. It was a bad idea to bite the hand that feeds you when they do so out of generosity rather than obligation. Soon closeted and then later out and proud Lesbian Mary wrote a 'tell all' and went on the gossip show circuit to badmouth DJT and try and sabotage his election chances. I am not surprised that Fred III is now doing the same.

Sour grapes and jealousy seems to be the reason for all of this.
