I literally got a letter in the mail today informing me that they are cutting my disabled son's SSI from three-hundred-and-something dollars a month down to two-hundred-and-something dollars a month because we're just so damned rich.
I can easily afford to keep my family of five in a one-bedroom house so the extra money isn't needed.
My 20 year old car blew a tire but I can sell some of my stuff to have it fixed.
I work a government job so I'm not entitled to Social Security when I retire so I have to pay into a pension. Half of my paycheck goes to the pension, medical and dental, union dues, and state and federal taxes.
But I'm so happy to hear that these lovely visitors are well taken care of by my tax dollars.
