The proof is in the pudding the KJV has produced more fruit than all the other versions combined all your great revivals have ended in America since the new version came out except for Sunday and Graham who both used KJVs well Graham was quoted once as saying when I want results I use the KJV the men behind the translation though the may have not all been straight doctrinally they were some of the holiest and God fearing men and they were very very intelligent many of your new versions were had unsaved reprobates and perverts translating the bible whatever may be said about King James whether true or false he DID NOT TRANSLATE the KJV because the KJV is the original language direct from God the KJV is the only version that has preservation and has supporters who know it is pure and without error you will not find this with any other version finally though lazy Christians claim it is hard to READ it has been scientifically proven to be the easiest version to UNDERSTAND there is something about the King's English that is very clear and to the point the English launguage was at its best at this time in history and is better than Greek Hebrew Aramaic Septuagint
Dr James White has written probably what's the best book on this subject. He's also done countless debates against the position that you're holding that are available on YouTube.

What your expounding is an opinion and tradition, not a biblical truth. Some of your assertions are just plain falsehoods like "scientifically proven" 😂. That's something we heard a lot recently. Did you get your vax and boosters?
The King James Bible also contains a code that is censored in other versions for example word of God is found seven times and most high seven times the Word of God or its alternative word of the Lord is Jesus himself Shiloh the capital of Israel before Jerusalem meaning Messiah is found 33 times the age at which Jesus died Shiloh was destroyed if one adds the 33 times Shiloh is mentioned to the 667 times Jerusalem is mentioned in the Old Testament one gets 700 times the capital of Israel is mentioned in the Old Testament Jerusalem is mentioned 144 times in the NT as in the 144000 of Revelation this is not so in modern versions the New Internation Version censors the word Hell 14 times from Gods original word the KJV in our house we call the NIV the HIV
Straw-man fallacy.
Did I at any point elevate the NIV? No I did not. Amongst the Bible scholars and translation experts it's considered a less than idea translation. I put it right in the same category as the message Bible.
Now why don't you check out that book I referred you to or look up "James White KJV only debate" on YouTube. He's covered everything. He is one of the leading textural transmission, textual variants, and translation experts in the world whose fluent in Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic.
As far as literal word for word translations my preference is the NASB followed by the ESV.
For middle ground between word for word and thought for thought The CSB would be my choice.
But I often run my Bible studies with a parallel Bible with several translations looking at the same verses. I can tell you there's quite a bit you would miss if you were only reading the original KJV. And there's a lot you'll also miss if you don't go back to the original languages.
But KJV onlyism is silly. I can understand if you only wanted to read the Bible in the original written languages but that's not your position at all.
Anyways I don't think this conversation's going to be productive any longer. Have a great day.
I just wanted to note a 100% agreement on this, not that my take is of any importance or anything.
I personally like an Interlinear English/Hebrew/Greek Bible with Strong’s codings, other than the text being insanely small.
Regardless of the translation used, there’s a lot of value to be found in word studies, and not just with the Bible.
Your first mistake was responding to that unpunctuated word salad, lol.
NASB is corrupted.
Easiest way to tell is it's relegated Acts 8:37 to the footnotes and removed it from the actual text.
What would stop the Ethiopian eunuch from getting baptized?
Nothing in the NASB.
Apparently doesn't even matter if he believed Jesus was the Son of God?
Acts 8:37
And Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”
No the Bible was originally written in English I don't like foreign language versions of the KJV I dont think thats right we know the only true version is the 1600s version in English its too risky for anybody to translate that into other languages or write it in another way mistakes can creep in and that can lead to heresy Christians should only read Gods language English
