I could find one story of her, from the time of that happened, but nothing what happened afterwards. She was a drug user, presumably, and didn't stay in the room they got for her but returned back to the street only after a day or two, and after that they could sometimes find her, sometimes not, and she was said to have been pretty mixed in the way she behaved towards the people who tried to help her, sometimes welcoming, sometimes hostile.
But that does certainly illustrate the problems when it comes to trying to help people who live on the streets, especially the ones who have been there a long time. A lot of them would need rehab and therapy to start with before anything else is done, and only those who accept that and are willing participants can really benefit from those. Seems that lifestyle can become addictive in itself, even without the drugs. Plus then there are the ones who weren't forced there but chose it, for whatever reason, and they would be even harder to get off the streets.
I say again, Trump should have had that star removed from the sidewalk in Hollywood (where scumbags of the lowest order reside, spit on it and walk on it with their dirty feet) and displayed it on his office wall.
He's too good to have his name walked on like that.

It is very hard to help. Some people would accept help and some would not and not appreciative.
Trump was nice.
Couple that with an average of 7 stays in a rehab facility before it really sticks with those who are willing when they go in.
My wife has talked with me about this & has told me those are the numbers in the industry she is directly involved in.
In order to accept they have to know they need help and deserve help, so self love and worthy of love is a must and first step…
